- We live in a parable culture. Friedrich Nietzsche once said, "Better songs would they have to sing, for me to believe in their Saviour." Our culture screams, "Tell me a better story and then I’ll believe in Jesus.” I began communicating at Focus on the Family and then engineered/produced the daily radio program “FamilyLife Today” for five years. I became the acquisitions editor for FamilyLife Publishing in 98. I wrote or worked on resources including Passport to Purity, Jonah: A Very Veggie Family Adventure, and the amazon.com best-seller Simply Romantic® Nights. In Mar 04, I joined Nelson Ministry Services as a consultant. In Dec 05, I became the Sr. Acquisitions Editor for Gen Reference Books in Nelson's Bible Group. In Mar 07, I went out on my own as a writer and editor. My wife and I live with our four children in Franklin, TN.
